R55 08 clubman s Fuel Rail System Pressure High
Hello all,
08 Mini Clubman s R55
I think I've been on all forums and just can't find the answers.
Problem
1. Fuel Rail Pressure (FRP) was exceeding 3k psi while coasting downhill (No errors on flat land)
2. FR pressure would run normal (700's PSI) for a while then slowly increase to about 1500 to 1700 PSI.
3. I noticed that after the engine was warm, the pressure would not return to the 700's psi most of the time it would hang in the 1k psi +
4. Car would go into reduced power mode./ PSI at around 75 PSI and run like crap. Pullover and restart the car, PSI is back to 700's PSI again.
With FRP being maintained by the HPFP, the MAP, MAF, FRP Sensor, and the O2 sensors I replaced them all/ OEM. Did I miss any?? Also replaced the HPFP a few months ago.
Now:
Codes from INNOVA 5410 obdII reader Scanning all modules
P0088
P3007
2A7F
287F
28BE
E18F
My FRP seems to top out around 1800 PSI for a split second then returns to normal (700-800's PSI) on a long steep downhill coasting. SO it seems I'm getting better.
Still throwing codes but the car is not jumping into reduced power anymore.
ANY AND ALL THOUGHTS WELCOME! This car is killing me.
