Looking to get back into a Mini
Owned an 05 R53 - chili red/ white roof and bonnet stripes and loved it. Moved on to a larger and boring SUV but have also owned a string of Land Rovers that I enjoy off-roading and the quirky British-ness. The S was the car I enjoyed the most of all I’ve owned and now looking to get back into one. I realize they’ve grown a bit since 05 but I still think they’re distinctive and good looking . Thinking of ordering a JCW and waiting it out as the low mileage used ones appear to have a premium tacked on lately. I’ll be digging around the 3rd gen and JCW sections learning what to expect and watch for. Always enjoyed this forum and meet some fine folks back in the early days (guess I’m getting old !).
