Hey yall. I'm newer to the mini community and learning as I go. I have a 2015 mini cooper base model and I'm having issues with shifting. I replaced the gear selector a while back but still having problems. I was thinking it was my trs but I can't seem to find it. I've looked all over the internet and watched several you tube videos but I found nothing for my car specifically, just that it was supposed to be on the transmission. I've read on other forums that it was on the shifter but those were for older models. My next guess is it's under the tcm (which is on the transmission). I did order the trs but I don't have it yet which is why I didn't actually take the tcm off to see. I was running out of daylight. Can anyone help me out? Also here's a picture of my tcm.
Transmission range sensor. There's a hard vibration and when it shifts it's like it shifts into a higher gear than it should be in. It's almost like it starts in second and shifts up from there.

Oh!!
AKA Neutral safety switch.
That doesnt determine when to shift, it only tells the transmission what gear you are in, Like reverse, neutral, park.
It would be either at the shifter or the end of the shift cable.
