Rubber feet on parcel shelf

The rubber feet on the parcel shelf in the boot keep falling off and now I've lost one. Without the one in the driver's side, the switch to allow the top to go down does not engaged ☹️ The dealer want $35 for another set, which is insane for two little rubber peices. Anyone know of an after market alternative? I've asked a friend to try and 3D print some, but still looking for a plan B.

$35 for a pair sounds about right. Unless you can find them on Ebay or Mini Mania for less. Glue them on once you replace them.

They will definitely be glued on from here on out. My friend is working on making me some with his 3D printer. Total cost, will be a 6 pack of beer and lucky for me, he likes crappy domestic beer :-)

That's the part number: 51477469316

I looked at the older convertible parts which I have on my R52 and nothing really crosses over, looks like they changed the design.

This happened now twice to me. The plastic in the rubber was broken.
I got it replaced under warranty.
once it happened to me and once to my dealer.
If you do not place the parcel shelf on the right position and you are going to close the top it will get broken.
so be sure to place it on the right position before closing the top.
