I installed mine last night. Today I went to a local electronics shop and bought a five dollar rocker switch (momentatary on) and took apart my garage door opener remote, soldered on two leads to the switch and ran them out about a foot. I stuck the opener on the aluminum bracket under the dash. ran the wires up through the switchplate hole in the Euro shelf. Took my dremmel and cut a hole in the blank cover and popped the switch in. I now have a hidden garage opener actuated by a nice clean small black rocker switch mounted in the blank plate for the auxillary driving lights. A 30 minute project that got my garage remote off of my visor. the only car part I had to modify was the two dollar switch cover blank. It looks cool and works great. A simple, cheap customization.

Nice idea. I just took some velcro and stuck mine under the center stack. This way you don't see it and I can easily extract it for whatever reason.
