Rear Spoiler removal

So i've been playing with vinyl wrapping the last couple of months...and all I can say is it's pretty challenging, especially since i've never attempted it.

My first attempt was to wrap my door handles and without pulling them off I couldn't really get the wrap to fit at the points of each end to look good enough to leave on. Second was my door pillars, and while that proved to be a much easier task, it still wasn't 100%, but I did leave it.

While I did attempt the rear spoiler, and got to about 70% complete, I gave up on the underside where the spoiler meets the window. I was just too tight of a space to get it to stretch...then I made a terrible cut and that was kind of the end of it.

So my question is this, have any of you pulled off your rear spoiler for one reason or another? I found that ECS sells a replacement, which provides a great view of what I'm dealing with, but I thought I read somewhere that there was some double sided tape or something similar. True? Not true? Or is really just a chance and pry it up. Yes, I did come across the two bolts under the third brake light, but didn't see anything additional. Granted, it was very limited view of anything under there.

Here's to hoping someone was curious one day!

Thanks!

Thanks for the idea and the link, but regrettably that spoiler is different design.

If this is the same spoiler, maybe the pics of the backside will help.

Thank you for the reply. Can you tell me if this is sold with any sort of tape or adhesive? I guess to know that would quell my concern for potentially breaking it upon removal. If it's just the clips, then I feel a little more confident when I attempt to remove it again.

Not sure, but no adhesive is listed on this parts diagram for an R60 All 4 S.

Sweet! I can reassure myself that if I do break it I can always order a new one from you !

Thanks again!

Not from me... I'm just a NAM member who tried to answer some questions, and all with a "I'm not sure, here's some info to look at and judge for yourself."

Rise from the grave

Sorry to necromance a dead thread, but were you able to remove the spoiler?
Mine is messed up, so I bought a replacement.
I just want to make sure I know how to remove it when it comes
