Anybody notice why the rear brake discs have irregular groves on the leading edge of the disc? (F56)
Both my MIN cooper and JCW show signs of grooves.
Is this done for balancing reasons?

When you see it, you wonder if you have an inferior part fitted. Should have known MINI quality control wouldn’t let anything like that pass.
