I have LEDs in my 2015 door handles that come on when I unlock the car. Now I've seen a couple of 2016 Minis that have the Mini emblem projected down from their door handles.

Are there aftermarket kits to change the standard LEDs to the Mini emblem?

The lights you are talking about are located on the bottom of the door. Easy plug and play mod.

 

Thanks but those are in the bottom of the door (and easily replaceable). The ones I've seen are in the door handles, which come on when you unlock the car. I have the regular LEDs but I've seen ones of the Mini emblem

 

The new clubman has a MINI logo projector in the driver side mirror. I believe that is what you're talking about.

 

I saw it on the driver's side of a new Cabrio. I couldn't tell if it was coming from the mirror or door handle. The question is if I can upgrade mine.

 

It comes from the mirror - don't think they are retrofittable because the wiring will be different.

 

To confirm...it does come from the mirror not the door handles and is only on the drivers side of my f57
