I've had my glovebox out a couple or 4 times. And noticed that there was no cooling tube. That's the bit that used to end up on the floor (because it was not installed correctly on the 2014's).
I also notice that the control **** is missing...just the holes where it went.
Looking on the realOEM site I notice that it is show when I enter my 2016 VIN #.
Anyone else with a 2016 have it or did they forget to install it on mine?

 

I think that was one of the things they dropped, maybe as early as mid-2015.

 

Discontinued after the '15 model.

 

My 2014 F56 doesn't have the dial either, were they only for the 2015's?

 

My 2014 MCS had it.

 

My 2014 F56 S has it, with adjustment ring. Keeps water cool.

 

My cars build date is 3/19/15 and my car doesn't have it.


You can see where the air would have come through, but I don't have the piece that switches it on or off. Because of this, I'm assuming I don't have it.
