would these wheels fit ?? need help or advice

Hi guys would like some help.. I have a 2012 R58 MCS.. was looking into these wheels. According to APEX these wheels fit an E30 BMW.. I noticed the fitment specs were pretty much the same as a Mini wheel. Meaning, bolt patten 4x100 but I notice the CB was 57.1mm where as for our Minis it's 56.1mm. My question is the following; would that 1mm difference in the CB cause any issues ? If you get what I mean.. lol
Any feedback would be appreciated

Thanks

Anthony

Should be fine, I'd be concerned about the offset though.

I wonder if they would rub? My car is completely stock.. you read some posts where people run similar offsets with either 8 or 8.5 in wheels stating no rubbing issues. But then again it seems like et 30-35 max would be the safe bet . It's seems that there limited options when looking for a direct fit wheel as I don't want to use spacers or adapters as it is my daily.. a nice set of jcw wheels would be ideal but $$ wise they a little outside my budget for now.

$250/wheel isn't super cheap. I guess it depends why you're getting new wheels. If it's just for looks you can get a wheel with much better fitment for less. The wheels you posted are actually pretty light for a 17x8. I' d be hesitant to try and make a 17x8 ET25 fit. That offset is pretty aggressive especially if you ever want to go lower. For that price I'd go with Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in 17x8 ET38.

Team Dynamics is agreat wheel from what I've been reading.. it was more that style wheel I was going for in all honesty just trying to find a nice hub centric wheel. I'm not crazy about the idea of using rings and adapters. Example I found a set of O.Z. Superturismo GT wheels used for about $475 ( great price) but the bolt pattern was 4x114.3 on the wheel the owner had 4x100 adapters installed to make the wheels fit.. even though he said he said he had no rubbing issues because they also acted as 30mm spacers to give that flush look, it seems like a lot of extra bits and pieces that are not necessarily needed. When you consider that O.Z. makes that wheel as a direct fit for the car Budget wise $250 is about the top I would go if I had to. On the less expensive side I was looking at xxr530's in chromium black seem to be popular but I'm not sure about their reputation as you have to take everything with a grain of salt when reading reviews off the net

Using hub rings is no big deal, most wheels need them. I would avoid spacers if possible though. Style is what wheels are all about, light weight is just a plus.

Agreed I'm trying to keep things as straight forward as possible

Apex wheels are extremely popular in the BMW community. I know many people that run them. They are flow formed, which is why they are so expensive, but also makes them really strong and light. I don't believe they have these in stock though. I would check with them. There is currently a group buy for this wheel through apex.
