Broken Mount Make it to St Louis?

So, my mount was probably long dead, but never replaced by the previous owner. It's gotten pretty bad now however.

Can't tell what the motor is hitting exactly, so I ask, think I can make it ~300 miles like this? The noise scared me pretty good first time it made it.

New parts are in the mail, but the mount itself still hasn't shown.

I've seen people drive more than 300 miles like that so I wouldn't worry about the engine falling out, but it will cause more wear on other mounts and parts. We keep them in stock if you need.

I'm going with a vibra-technics mount so I don't have to do this ever again. Didn't see those in stock, else I would have. Waiting on prepressed bushings and control arms from you guys though

You ordered a lower mount right? It almost seems as though your lower mount completely fell off based on how the engine is moving. Because my upper passenger mount was blown for awhile and it didn't move anywhere near as much as that.

I actually tried to jack it up and check that until people started showing up and I lost my garage privileges.

Would be nice if the bolt just fell out. Anyone have the thread count and length on that?

And this is why I come to you people.

I'll post back tomorrow if I do something, else assume I just drove it as is to St Louis

Don't take it on the race track like that or the engine movement will cause you to blow out the flex joint on your header and then burn a hole in the aluminum heat shield and then melt your fuel vapor return line. Ask me how I know :-)

Glad that I could help and that it turned out to be a simple fix. Make sure to use some loctite this time

Yeah I am!

Before leaving I threw a 10mm bolt with a ton of washers on it in to keep it from wiggling. Mini dealer by me didn't have any of the right ones in stock and local hardware store only seem to sell standard bolts and nuts.

I'll just assume you have precognition and would never do something so silly
