Well here's a first for me.... Graphic pics inside.

As many of you know, I've been in the bodyshop business for 30 years. I've seen a lot of weird things but here's a first....

The car came in Friday with the deer stuck underneath. It couldn't be removed, it was STUCK!

It sat over the weekend and we managed to get it out yesterday. I don't need to tell you how bad it smelled. It was HORRIBLE.

I don't get paid enough for this....

Wheeeeew WHEEE! Can smell it from here!

Poor deer. Glad the driver didn't get deer through the windshield, though.

That is just gross. Also I feel sorry for the deer. Oh well though. You should have put the car on a lift. It would have been easier to pull it out.

When it was delivered, it was on a rollback. We rolled the rear wheels off and when the front wheels were at the tail end of the rollback, we raised the rollback horizontal essentially leaving the car "jacked up" in the front.

NO GO.. IT WAS STUCK!!!!

What a freakin' mess... we had to wash the parking lot down to get rid of the flies and fur.

I like how the tow truck driver just left it under there. Close enough.

I would think it would have been easier to remove it when the deer was still warm.

Seriously.

Indeed, loading the MINI with deer intact. No style points there.

My time with the motorcycling crowd includes many, many deer stories . Their particular survival adaptation includes jumping unpredictably. That helps in evading natural predators (the few that are left), but it makes them as likely to jump right into an oncoming vehicle as away. Often fatal consequences for cyclists, of course.

Long-legged forest rats. Dangerous and deadly. I'm a big encourager of venison harvesting and consumption, needless to say.

that's a mattress, or the remains of one, wrapped around (and around and around) the driveshaft

Good time for a FMIC upgrade too.
