Economical Horsepower Gain?

I recently bought at dark silver 2009 r55 JCW and i love it. I was wondering what is the most economical route to added horse power? maybe more low rpm power? im not super educated on these things so if i'm sorry if i sound like a complete idiot . any advice would be greatly appreciated. i have looked around the forum but i havent really found what im looking for.

anyways.. here are some pictures of my new (new to me)

Buy a tune for the CPU. You might want to look at Alta, RMW or you're already putting out some pretty good power, why not live with it.

Best bang-for-the-buck modifications on the N14 Engine:
* ECU programming (flash tune)
* front mount intercooler
* exhaust downpipe

Those three have the great yeild for the cash.
The kicker is to locate systems / parts that are worth it to you and are proven to work.
Search the archives and within minutes, you'll find many common trends on what manufacturers to use.
