2008 mini cooper S r56 license plates LED question

Hi everyone I'm new here and I was diging around the forums but had no luck in finding help about license plate LED lights for the 2008 mini cooper S. all I found was info on the first generation. I would appreciate it if anyone could give me a specific (link included) LED plate light product for my 2008 mini cooper S that won't set of the warning light and that it is a product you have tested on your 2008 mini cooper s. One last thing are there multiple colors for the plate light also? Thank you so much guys!!!

OP is looking for 2nd Gen info not 1st Gen.

But my search turned up a whole bunch of threads on this subject in the second gen section.

According to this: http://www.sylvania.com/en-us/applic...el=551&make=61

The driving light that is housed with the fog light is a 2825 which is a wedge style bulb which could be found at: http://aznoptics.com/index.php?main_...&products_id=8

The upper part of the Fog light is called the "City Lights" what we in the USA normally call the Parking Light.

You need to do more reading and searching for your self here. We dont mind helping here if the question has not been answered before but the site guidelines require you to search and read before posting questions that have already been asked. https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/guidelines

And the reason I say READ is becuase the answer to your current questions is in post #8 of this same thread

I've never quoted myself before, lol.

I just wanted to make sure that you saw this, the city light; aka the parking light here stateside; is the 2825 I made mention about. This LED contains the proper load resistor in it so it will not throw any warning lights on in the car.
