I really like the way the blacked out exhaust tips look. I am thinking of getting my new exhaust powder coated black!

Looks really good. Are you wrapping the chrome or plasti-dipping it? Also, did you have chrome interior bits? The AC and tach rings look flat silver and flat black, respectively. Sharp.

I DO love the tips and I'm pretty sure the Dread Pirate will be sporting them soon. I went vinyl on the blackout however. A little more expensive but a year and a half and still pristine. Cheated on the grill surround though... JCW part.

Thanks for the info!

Rayzmini, final question... Did you drop the exhaust to paint or just mask it off?

I need to run LEDs for my side scuttles... I want them a bit brighter after tinting them. Where did you get yours from they look nice and bright?

I just recently finished blacking out all of my chrome with Plastidip. I will leave the actual badges chrome for now though, I do want to try something different with the mini badges themselves though... we'll see how that goes...

You know what you need now to complete the look, especially after seeing the first pic? Some black gauge faces.

Rayzmini, Did you drop the exhaust to paint or just mask it off? If you dropped the pipe, how much work is it? Is there welding/re-welding involved? You have just given me my next project.
