if you ordered a Justa with Bench in October, has it been produced yet?
i'm just trying to see if my stalled order is an anomaly or not.

sorry to hear that. doesn't make me feel any better, i just was trying to figure out any rhyme or reason to mini production schedule...doesnt make any sense to me that possibly they are running the countryman s with bench first, then countryman base and then countryman s awd? strange. i said to my SM, if it will go faster, i will order the S or even the S AWD assuming the price is right. i just don't want to wait till march of next year to get it.

Maybe there are more All4's ordered so they did those first. Is kinda strange that Gatorhearher ordered back in July and there CM isn't going to be in production till 5weeks after mine. Must have been there MA. Hope you guys don't have to wait long. Tell you the truth I didnt want my CM to come until march, but I'll get it when I get it.

same here, i am giving my son my 03 acura tl in april, so i dont need mine till march too...however, the longer i wait, the more i will want to change my mind about things that i was so set on...like, should i change my base to an "S" and if i change it to an "S" should i then get the ALL4...so it is really psychological why i want it sooner rather than later. as i mentioned in another thread, my 03 acura tl with just front wheel drive, all season tires and traction control was perfect for massachusetts driving during the winter, so i think the base justa with front wheel drive, all seasons and stability control should be equally as good but all this time, my mind starts wondering and wanting more...helppppp lol

bostonterrier, I just found this info in the "How to Track Your Mini" thread (in the "Minis in General" section) and thought I'd pass it along FWIW:

Production Numbers
There is an exact time and date when each production number is going to start its way through the factory. Each dealership has a certain allocation of production number each week and it is up to them to spread them across their customer’s orders and the dealerships own cars that they keep on the lot. Furthermore, the allocated production numbers are subdivided by the different models available. So your dealer may have several JustaCooper slots open next week but have a four week wait for a Clubman slot. Some dealers have been known to swap out customer orders for one of the dealer production numbers in order to speed up the process (earlier number = earlier production), others simply place your order under the next slot they have available. Your dealer’s policies on this will vary greatly and are likely to be fairly rigid once your Production Number has been provided.
It may be Mini's production line, or it may be that all your dealer's allocations are full... Either way, I sure hope yours goes into production soon!

Sorry your car is delayed BostonTerrier. What does the MA / dealer have to say? Why are they not giving you a production week? Sounds like they did not give you a production slot from an earlier allocation.

i did get a production number the same day i placed my order, in early October...but insofar as the production slot...my SM isnt giving me any indication if i have one or not...only that it appears to him that the CMS with bench is being produced first and mine is a base and that his rep has said that their are no production delays. so i said if it would speed up things then i would upgrade to the S, assuming a good price. but then he said that this could delay things even longer. supposedly i will know more tomorrow and hopefully i can report back something soon.
