Someone put a little idea into my head and I just had to give it a try. Got the sewing machine out again (who am I kidding, I hadn't even put it away) and voila...



The jumper cable bag is born. Fits neatly inside the compact spare even with the spare tire bag closed.

The jack fits as well, but I didn't want to add to that whole spare-tire-becoming-a-missile-in-an-accident debate.

 

A jumper/tools/jack bag in the Spare tire bag?

Pack a few vinyl gloves and some handi wipes to clean off your hands.

 

Think you could make one that fits a 16" X-lite & tire with a spot for the jumper cables inside? Lemme know if yer up to it, and how much you'd like for it.

nice! i got one of those in my other car. :smile: come in very handy as those
jumper cables hava mind of their own when it comes time to putting it away
in the trunk.

 

Yeah, just need to make one that matches my tire cover now.

I made the black one because someone I work with asked for one. He wants me to put a Rolling Stones tongue patch on it (fanatical fan).
