Add touchscreen, iGo and video to factory NAV...

I found some more info on what has been posted up before from a link in Brazil.

Looks like they just add a touchscreen to the factory display. Then splice into the video with an outboard box. The navigation they are using is iGo.

That's pretty cool. The ONLY thing keeping me from ordering the OEM navi is the lack of video bypass.

Video

The NavVideo unit does bypass the video. The stock nav screen has the silver box below placed between it and the factory contol module. It runs $299 US $.

If you're feeling particularly gutsy, you could also just retrofit a 7" Lilliput touchscreen into the factory nav speedo:

Anyone know of a good touchscreen overlay? I've not had much luck finding one, but also don't know really where the best places are to look.
