I've been a lurker for the past couple of weeks and thought I'd create a thread saying howdy!

My new-to-me Mini is an 05 R53 Pepper White which came with a big brake kit and extended warranty. Aside from the brakes, everything else is stock--weird, I know.

Thanks to this forum, I've recently installed Aux kit, hardwired V1 and replaced the cabin filter (I had a musty smell that wouldnt go away). I also just ordered some stripes which should arrive tomorrow.

Where did you order the stripes from?

 

From mightystripes.com and its the double stripe (thick/thin band) that goes on one side of the car. Thicker band is black and thinner is red. Ordered one for the hood, roof, and trunk. Its similar to "Derekilla" on his post here except my thin band will be red.

I saw in another thread where you said you got black and red offset stripes. I am curious as to where you bought them, and I'd love to see pics when you get them installed.

I answered the questions but its saying that an admin has to approve the reply--must be because I put a web address there.

Back to topic, yes, its the red (thin) and black one (thick) offset stripes. I purchased it from a company called Mighty Stripes (you have to google it since I dont know if I can post links). I'll post pics once I have it installed.

I also ordered Pro Clip mount holder along with a dock for my HTC Evo. I'll post pics of that too once installed.

I received the vinyl striping but have yet had the time to put them on--although part of me is still a little skeptical in doing it myself even after watching countless videos on youtube on how to install it.
