Walked up to my Cooper the other day and noticed something hanging down behind the driver side rear wheel suspension. It was almost fully torn off, so I went ahead and pulled it the rest of the way off.

I looked up the part number stamped on it (33326758385) and found that it is identified as a 'Stone Chip Guard' (http://parts.miniofsouthatlanta.com/...ssembly=264998). It is part number 22 in that link.

Question is, have any of you replaced one of these before? It looks like it is connected somehow to the bottom of the shock/trailing arm. I can't tell if it just snaps on over something or if it is more complicated than that.

I have attached a shot of the driver side w/o the part and the passenger side with it still in place.
