Replacing Run-Flats as well as Stock 15's

Since getting my car in August of 09, ive been wanting to replace the horribly small 15 inch wheels that came stock (which type I have I dont even know) however the cost for new wheels and tires in one purchase has been a bit daunting and I have been unable to do so up to this point.

I actually have no idea how much life I have left on the runflats but that is beside the point, although yes I do understand that is a large factor in determining how much value these wheels/tires have at this point. WhatI was hoping to do was to sell these, take that money to offset the 1000+ dollar cost of a new 17" set, and to get steelies for the winter months in Long Island (which if anyone lives around here, holy crap this winter has been bad so far).

My question to members of NAM - How much could I expect to get for my set of 15's and/or is there any demand for the stock wheels w/ runflats anyway??

Thanks in advance..!

... and they would come with the sensors of course if that makes any large difference. I'm afraid that if I buy the new set, I'll still have these perfectly functional wheels wasting away in my garage and being beat up in the winter. I'd rather just have the awesomely-ugly steelies for that.

Yes there is a market for your stock 15 inch wheels. The tires you have are not runflats. Depending on how much life is left on the tires & the condition of the wheels I'd guess $300-$400 or so would be possible.

Heavy 17 inch wheels will slow your MINI down, but will look good.

I'd say there isnt much of a market because my brand new 15 wheels and tires have been sitting in the Marketplace for a while with no interest shown!
good luck!

Well the time folks are looking for snow tire wheels has passed. Maybe if you lower your price on them they'd sell. Just a thought.

I'd like to put 15s on mine in the spring/summer. Where are you located? If shipping wouldn't be ridiculous and you still have them when it warms up I may be interested.

Ahh, that's too bad, I'm across the country and north across the border on Vancouver Island.
