Gauge Wiring Help.

Okay so I got my new gauges in the mail and im going to be putting them in tomorrow or friday. Now I already have some gauges wired up so I will be using the existing wiring just adding some. The gauges I bought now go from white to amber when you turn the lights on. It says i need to tap into a wire for the parking lights. Which wire do you guys suggest to tap into? I want it to be easy to get at. Thanks!

Oh and also, I have my current gauges run off add-a-circuits. Which spots in the fuse box do you recomend for constat power and ignition power. thanks again.

I would use ignition power to run your new gages. What type of Prosport gages did you get?

No, I like "add a circuit". Another gage /gage light or two added will be OK on the same fuse as the other gages you added (they don't take much current). I would place the "add a circuit" to wherever it fits best for access and add to a lower amp fuse spot. The current to the base fuse panel should be the same only seperated by constat power and ignition power spots.

Im going to buy another add a circuit to use for the headlight switched power to switch them from white to amber. Ill post up my results later. The only problem I noticed is, sometimes when you use the add a circuit it changed the fuse slot from ignition voltage to constant power

I don't know how that could be if the "add a circuit" is plugged into the same original fuse slot.

I've read on here about other people h theaving same issue. Since I can't find a fuse that will change the gauges from white to amber I might just run a single wire and tap into my parking lights so they will change. Ill post my results here!
