yes, we have our own versions to offer based on our 91pump gas tunes
there are also the basic tunes that Alta offers as the "canned" tunes
Jeff can make custom maps also but I'm sure he will charge for this also.

Jan,
So what happens to the current dimsport users? Are you still updating tunes for us there? Or is that dead now, and we basically either live with the tune we have on the dimsport or we buy an AP?
I heard you maybe finding mapping stuff via the AP to help you update tunes on the dimsport?

no, still working things out the old slow way
the AP is much easier to use that's for sure

How do your tunes compare to Alta's? Dyno graphs?

For those that have the Dimsport and want to upgrade keep checking back for pricing on swapping them out. I should hear back from Alta soon.
Thanks for being patient!

So dimsport users will still be able to get updates, correct?
I just see it as 895+shipping...
We spent 369 for the tool, and 5-600 for the tune, putting us at 869/969. Lets say 900 to be average for those who spent less/more on the tune.
Assuming 895 + shipping gets us the cobb + the tune, I can't see a discount on the dimsport swap being really worth it unless its more than 50% off.
I dunno, having already spent 900 on a tune is pricey as it stands.. and from a power point of view we probably aren't seeing more than 5-10 hp from the cobb swap. Yes you get the availability of the tool capabilities from the AP, but at a cost of say another 600-700$.
Unless, the 5-600 we spent on tunes for the dimsport already carry over to the AP and we are soley buying the AP as the loader, and thus the loader would be 2-300$ (essentially 895 for cobb + tune - the tune at 600$ = 300 for just the cobb ap, and maybe a discount for swapping the dimsport)
I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this plays out, but from an economical standpoint I don't see it making much sense, unless the gains are tremendous over the dimsport

So an AP that comes with an RMW tune? Count me in! As soon as I close on my house anyway :P
So how are updates handled if we buy this then later add things like exhaust or IC? Will they be free or at least cheap? Or should I hold off until I can afford to get an IC first?
