Wow, you must be trusting with your color matching from PPG to paint it before you even get the car. I had my car and still had to tint.

Hope it works out for you...

I don't know of any inserts that transfer over to the new JCW bumper. The rear fogs can be purchased with or without the lamps. You can replace the rear fogs with a black insert that matches the big black squares on the back.

Also, there were two pieces about a foot long (a little less) that were reinforcements that I couldn't figure out where they went. You're not talking about those are you?

Hello Mark
No the inserts should be the ones that go in place of where the rear fogs go. I have to call my parts guy, they do not seem to know that much there.

I do a lot of custom spray work..I purchased a pint and sprayed some test panels and went to the mini delaer and matched them up to several cars and the match was perfect...I am hoping they will match my car. Not to worried about it, if its off I will fix it to match.

Thanks,
Jimmy

Those inserts are available separately. I specifically asked my parts dept if they came with the JCW kit and he said yes. I asked if he was sure, he said yes again...

And of course, nope, they aren't included.

Then I asked them if there are inserts, lamps or reflectors. Again, I was reassured that they were reflectors... WRONG AGAIN... they're lamps and of course, now I don't have the wiring harness.
I didn't find out till later that plain inserts were available, I probably would have tried those instead.

I can see you now... keep going to the dealer with a sprayout card to see if they match... sounds like something I would do.

Yeah...it was kinda a funny...got a lot of strange looks when we were there. Even a mechanic came out to ask if he could help us. I think they thought we were steeling something...went to tell my sales girl what I was doing and she was so confused that I was painting parts before the car got there
