First time posting to this forum. Been here since the days of MCO and I got my R53 in July of '02 and have since put close to 110k on the beast known as Zane Grey. But here I am , the proud owner of an 08 Clubman which arrived at MINI of Peabody yesterday. Funny how blase I am this time about tracking it, I waited 10 months for the first one, I guess it's just different the 2nd time around. I didn't track it once" oh well, when it gets here, it gets here..." I still haven't sold my first car and I'm getting a little nervous about that as I have sold my house and close on the 18th of April. It's listed here on NAM , MINI2, Ebay and craigs list and I guess most people are leary of the high mileage, but seriously it is MINT (except for one little dent in the front and rear bumper cover) To people just buying their first MINI , enjoy! there will be good times and bad, but these are really cool cars to drive and for the most part the people who post to these forums are people who have tended to have problems( just do a search on windscreens if you want a taste of what I went through....8!) Can't wait to pick up the new Clubman tentative to be known as Coco Chanel(who knew I'd have a female MINI, LOL)

I bet you are a proud owner and I hope you are able to unload your other one ASAP. I was at a dealer in Denver a couple of days ago and I saw two of the best equipped Clubman so far. A HC/S MCCS with the aero kit and a BRG/B MCCS also with the aero kit. Both are really nice. Below is a link to the images I took of them.

hmm the details are as I said: Clubman S, 6 speed, Hot Chocolate with silver roof, mirrors, and rear c pillar trim, Silver viper stripes, Hot Chocolate lounge leather with cream white piping, winter package, premium package(10 speaker Hi Fi sound system,Auto A/C, and Dual pane panoramic sunroof), clear bra, roof rack with 12 cu ft cargo carrier, DSC, 16" Bridge-spoke wheels, front fog lights, rear fog lamp, OBC, Sport seats. I am going for the 6 yr.100K extended warrentee. I think that's everything.................cool!

I was customer # 173 for my first car back in April of 02. MoP is the absolute best! Gary king is the man and Paul Taylor has really stepped up to the plate to fill Martin's shoes. Too bad you folks in Me. have to come so far, I live in Newburyport and it only takes me 18 minutes to get there.

 

It'd be nice to have a dealer up here, but we don't mind the trip. My wife is from the Mass/RI, so we go down that way quite a bit anyway.

 

You are looking at my car (Imagine 28% tints all round) minus the hot chocolate interior.

 

Nice car--just like mine except for the R108 wheels, invisible bra, 22% tint and Sirrus (spell check??)/ The Viper stripes in teh fro and back really add to the car.

 

I also have the front end clear bra installed.
