smilies

There seems to be a problem with the smilies not showing up in the post when using the quick reply box at the bottom of the thread.

I can select a smilie from the drop down list and it shows up in the box, but when I post it, the smilie is gone.

I noticed this yesterday and hadn't had a chance to look into it further. Hopefully I'll have some time tomorrow or Saturday to look into a fix.

Haven't tried it today, but for the last few days I kept getting the "no" smilie regardless of the one I picked.

Trying a "confused" smilie here:

I know there is a problem with the quick reply smilies at the moment and I'm not sure exactly what is going on. I'll investigate as family time permits this weekend. In the meantime jump to "Go Advanced" to use the usual palette of smilies.

No worries. More often than not I type them out anyhow (which is faster for me than mousing around). I just mentioned the thing about the "no" smilie in case it helps at all for troubleshooting.

While watching the game I think I got the problem resolved. I ended up changing how it works a little bit so give the quick reply tools a try and let me know if there are still problems.
