Yesterday, I went to my MINI dealer and returned with a stack of paperwork and a promise that I'll be a MINI owner sometime in mid-March!

I put a similar post on MINI2 last night. Something about getting a new MINI that just makes you want to shout from the rooftops!

Here's what my MINI will be like:

I''m anxious to get my new car, but it's amazing how those costs just keep piling up when buying a car... I saved $1,300 over the other MINI dealer in that city so that's something to cheer about.

I want the JCW kit also, but I'm having a tough time letting go of more cash right now. I'm still suffering from sticker shock somewhat! Hopefully the panic will pass soon!

I just logged-in to the Owner's Lounge for the first time too. I'm sure I'll be checking that on a regular basis now to see how the little red beast is progressing (I hope it's a red beast)

The OL let me in and that was good. What was scary is that the MA handed me my order sheet and there were some incorrect items. Of course he cheerfully fixed them and the hard copy looks fine now. The OL has me down for a PS/PS MCS with a CVT automatic transmission I thought CVT's were for MC and MCC only, but that's what it says. I'll let it cook for a week or 10 days and if it isn't corrected in the OL, I'll ask my MA about it (unless you fine folks advise me to panic)

Congrats on the order. Something to think about with your dealer accessories--unless they're cutting a deal with you, you might be able to save some money by ordering your floormats, etc thru Classic MINI in Cleveland (see their ads in the vendor section.)

Dont worry about the order not showing up in the OL correctly just yet. It usually takes a couple of days for it to get updated. The same thing happened to me when I ordered my first MINI and I panicked and called my MA. She reminded me that she told me to wait a couple of days before checking and sure enough, the info was correct the next day.
