How do I create a search that looks threads that have all of the terms listed (more restrictive) rather than bring up all threads with any of the terms? I've looked for Forum Help, tried stuff, etc, but I haven't been able to figure it out.

I haven't figured it out either, but a good tip is go to Google and type in your search for, say, a cold air intake for an R56 as "R56 cold air intake site:www.northamericanmotoring.com"

To get really specific using Google is the best approach. The search engine in our software, while decent for finding general threads, isn't the best to use for this situation.
