Ooooo...time to step up I see. Okay, take this!!!

and this!!

This was totally repaired...car was even better than before. Still motors about every day!! BTW, a friend had made me a bowl of fresh banana pudding...totally depressed, I ate the whole bowl the night of the wreck. Both airbags deployed, the MINI performed beautifully!! A girl was motioned out across traffic by some dufus...she could not see ongcoming cars (me)!!

Ouch that hurts! Although that banna pudding sounds pretty freaking amazing. Mmmmm bannana pudding. Its hard to believe that someting that crashed can be fixed perfectly!

Yes, the frame was untouched...everything bolted off and on, including a whole new bonnet. I remember sitting in the driver's seat right after the collision. First thought that raced through my mind "That is so cool!!!" Really, the MINI did everything right...amazing car, even in the midst of adversity. The girl in the Saturn (still in her car, windows down) looked across at my smashed MINI through the air bag smoke and said "What kind of car is that!?!?!" MINIs never fail to impress...even when busted up!!!

As painful as this is for me.... this is nothing compared to some of them up above

I was just being a stupid teenager. I was showing off to my Step-brother. It was on a dirt road, around a turn.... and a tree. I had done it amny times before but by myself. The extra weight did not help one bit.

Basically all that was replaced was the bumper and the aluminum behind the plastic, the hood and right head light.

One might think I'd get tired of looking at pics of vehicles involved in accidents since it's part of my daily routine. But... one would be wrong.

Cool thread !

I can totally agree! In retrospect, it surprises me how laid back I was about the whole incident.

Well mine wasn't too bad but here's what happens when a trailor hitch is directly in your blindspot when backing up. It came from above so I couldn't see it at all.
We have pictures of a friend who decided to play Superman and fly off a cliff....I wonder igf I'm allowed to post them now since it's been quite a while.

Emily, wasn't that at last AMVIV? I seem to remember seeing a pic of your rear (window, that is) before...
