Anyone hide wires for a radar detector?

I have a passport 8500 and I want to put it in the upper left hand corner of my windshield. Anyone have thier wires hidden or know how to do it?

I posted this in navigation and audio as well because I didnt know where to post it.

The end panel just clips off very easy (right hand drive in picture) There is lots of room in there to hide connectors etc
We have a plug & play power supply lead for the r56 Mini

That looks interesting, but I can't for the life of me figure out what that picture is of? And, your website link just has a price and short description of the item, but what does it look like, how does it install and where??

Another question is, does anyone know of a radar detector that is "modular"? By that I mean, the "antenna" can be mounted in front grill for example, the cpu can be mounted under dash or hood, and the only thing you have in car (on dash or whereever) is lights and/or led's.

I've seen them install one on a "Pimp my ride" type show on TV, but can't seem to find where they got it....

I used to have one of those radar detectors. The unit fit behind the grill, and the receiver was in a discrete location, hidden to anyone but me. It worked wonderful, but stupid me left it in that old 'Z' car, and now I cant find another one. If anyone knows I would be interested too.
Yeah, the photo is a little hard to decypher until you see the pedals in the lower left hand corner.
My current radar detector is right up next to the rear view mirror. I hate the cord. Anyone got any ideas on how to hide that?

I think mine was a Cobra, which worked very well. I just Googled "remote radar detector" clicked on the 'product search" (third listing down0 and BAM...a whole list of different remote detectors! Happy radar detector hunting!
