I can't seem to get the dealer to give me a price and install on R56. I'm thinking they don't have the specs/and or equipment so they are putting me off. How many people have the dealer install for their R56. How much did it cost total and how is it working. Thanks

 

I seem to recall the parts guru Sherry of Mini of Dallas asking $580 for the kit & estimated 2hr. install. I wish I had done this instead of letting the "Kids" at Best Buy install mine. Good luck
PS I love my Sirius jsut the same.

 

I bought the Sirius unit from Classic Mini in Ohio and received it about a week ago. They charged $479 for the unit, which the invoice showed listed at $599.

I've made an appointment for Nov. 1 in Portland to have Rasmussen install it. They told me they haven't installed one yet for an R56, so thus far, they're not sure what the labor charge will be. They're hoping someone will get one installed before then, so they'll have a better idea of what they'll charge, based on actual time spent.
