Painting JCW Sideskirts

Hey Guys,

I was thinking about buying the JCW aerokit's sideskirts as seperate items and then getting them painted by a third party body shop and installing them myself. My question is, how much do you think a decent job would cost (by decent I mean a paint job that matches the rest of the car and will last).

Thanks,

Usman

If you cant order them the color of the car, I'de recommend a price between $300, and $700, if its just the side skirts... full car would be 2k-3k

I don't think you can order them in the color of your car, especially if you have mellow yellow, because there are 4 variations of it. When my dad got the aero kit on his, they painted it at the body shop...kit, painting and install cost about $2800 I think.

Actually, I think it was only around $2500 for everything. The aero kit costs around $1600, then it has to be painted and installed.

I heard from someone who did just this, that it costs a few hundred bucks. I interpreted that to mean approx. $300.

I'm pretty sure the sideskirts by themselves costs around $700. I saw that on somebody's website.

...beware, there are multiple parts to each side....an outer shell, an inner shell as well as 4 individual black vent inserts per side, plus hardware and snaps ....I doubt 275 per side is a complete price....

.....they have obviously mis-quoted or don't understand what parts are involved in the swap (most likely).

We do (I personally installed them) and have them on our project R56:

I wrote to Morristown about just the front apron and never got the answer. How much is the front apron only, unpainted?
