Annoying Seatbelt thing...

My driver's side seat belt seems to have the male end on backwards. When you pull it over your shoulder to secure it, you always have to twist it to go into the receiver correctly. The belt would lie flat if the male end were on 180 degrees from where it is now. Anyone have this? I know it is minor but, it is annoying. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks,
Paul

You probably turned it inside out on the belt at one time or the other. Fold the flat of the fabric belt back over itself inside the slot on the male metal latch. Good as new.

My seat belt on the driver's side has twisted since the day I picked up the MINI. I have had the dealer look at it & it still continues to do it. It seems to be a problem only with the Cabrios. I wish I had an answer too.

I have the same problem with the backseat drivers side belt. It seems the more I try to fix it, the worse it gets. I figure it is from driving with the top down a lot, and the wind is twisting the belt. I have finally decided I don't ride in the back, so I'm not going to worry about it.

I normally do to, but they got undone when we had a passenger or the seats folded down, and didn't get buckled back before motoring.

When I bought my MINI, it had the same problem. I was able to fit it by pulling the seat belt out all the way a few times and it fixed itself

Oettpo - pull your belt all the way out and see which way it is twisted. Fold it over the other way and put it through the slot. It should work out okay then.

Does anyone else have a problem with the buckle sticking in the latch during ejection? Mine comes out halfway and gets stuck approx. 1 in 10 times, i'm worried what might happen in an emergency, but since i can't get it to happen on command, i haven't told the dealer...
