I believe they are warrantied for something like 5 years. When they do start peeling, replace them with another set. In regards to quality, the OEM stripes seem to be more durable than any aftermarket ones.

There are a variety of vinyls available after-market. Some have a 2-3 year life, others a 10 year life. You just need to check with the vendor when you get them.

That is what they are there for, keep asking them as long as you have questions.

The onyl problem that I have noticed so far is when you accidentally apply wax, it streaks a bit but I am sure that has been my fault. From a construction and durability point of view, I think they will be fine.

I've had mine on now for over a year with no issues. I polish and wax just like the rest of the paint, staying away from the black pin stripes on the edges because they will polish off.
I bought mine from Mike at Aesthetic Creations, I highly recommend him.

I want to get a "stripper" on my bonnet too!!! Preferrably one that looks like the babe on the Hammer & Coop epsisodes!!! ;-)

You also have the choice of getting magnetic ones made up. Stick them on when you feel like it, take em off when you don't. That's what I'm doing, cause I'll only stick them on when I'm rallying....

I wouldn't mind a stripper on my bonnet, but not the magnetic (or plastic) kind.
