Side mirror glare

I have been noticing a lot lately that I am getting a lot of glare from headlights in my side view mirrors and it is pretty annoying. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to my mirrors to lower this problem. Would a blue film help? Or would that just give me blue mirrors? Any opinions are appreciated.

i remember my old G20 had some sort of blue-ish film on the glass.
it did help reduce the glare. give it a shot.

Motor at night?? I mean, its a mirror and it's the sun...glare is just going to happen. Your particular time/direction of travel must put your mirrors right in the sun's crosshairs!!

if you can see cars comming from behind you in your side mirrors, they are aimed TO FAR BACK! side mirrors are for checking blind spots. cars comming from behind should only be seen in the REAR VIEW mirror untill very close to your car.

if you can see the back of your car or the lane next to you its to narrow of a view.

when I set mine, I have my girlfriend stand in my blind spot while parked and adjust from there.

hope this helps.

Check out cartalk.com I now have my sides set to see the lanes on both sides with my rear veiw mirror set to catch a little of both sides therefore no more blind spots.
