Interior/Exterior Side mirror glare

Side mirror glare
I have been noticing a lot lately that I am getting a lot of glare from headlights in my side view mirrors and it is pretty annoying. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to my mirrors to lower this problem. Would a blue film help? Or would that just give me blue mirrors? Any opinions are appreciated.

if you can see cars comming from behind you in your side mirrors, they are aimed TO FAR BACK! side mirrors are for checking blind spots. cars comming from behind should only be seen in the REAR VIEW mirror untill very close to your car.
if you can see the back of your car or the lane next to you its to narrow of a view.
when I set mine, I have my girlfriend stand in my blind spot while parked and adjust from there.
hope this helps.
