R90's or R108's - Any Pics???

I'm finalizing my choices and getting ready to place my order, but I'm really having trouble deciding on the wheels for my MC. I'm stuck between the R90's (16") and the R108's. I've been looking for pics of both to help me decide, but haven't been able to find any. I would really appreciate some pics if anybody has any to post!!!

THANKS!!!

I went with 17 inch webspoke. Somewhat similar look but not 2 tone color. less expensive. May require a bit more upkeep than 108s. Had the webbies not been an option I would have likely gone w/ R90s but it would have been an expensive proposition since you have to buy from dealer and likely get very little compensation for whatever came on the car OEM.

I started a thread on MINI2 about R108's but the site is down today. Do a search when it's back up, there were quite a few good pics there.

Interludio-thanks for the tip, I'll definitely check out the thread. I've played endlessly with the mini configurator but that doesn't do justice; need to see some real cars!
Emtry-thanks for the info, btw the webspokes look great on your MCS

If you've got the money to spend... go for the R90's. They're the best looking MINI wheel, period.

If you don't want to spend another $2000+... go for the R98 Web Spokes in the sport pack. They're a steal for what you get: a real 2-piece composite wheel... the lightest MINI makes.

The R108's are nice... but for a one-piece wheel (IMO), you can do better in the aftermarket at about 1/2 the price.

Agree 100%. Just pick up some wheel cleaner in bulk.

True, .. and while you're at it, consider picking up one of these detailing brushes. I've been using them on my bikes (1 HD and 4 Brit bikes) for quite a while.

I've recently discovered that they work extremely well on my Web Spokes as well.

Oh, I don't know... I can't imagine the web spokes are any harder to clean than the R90's. I actually think the rounded shape might make them a hair easir IMO. Of the three, I'd think the R108's would be the biggest PITA... cleaning between all those 16 narrow spokes. Yikes.

No matter what wheels you get, stock MINI pad blow a lot of dust. A swap in pads down the road helps a lot, too.
