OK Boys and Girls! I'm jumpin in with "who has orders for week 27?
I have a MCS, Pepper, with Red Lounge Leather coming from week 27. Trying to get rid of my Armada asap before it gets here. When that's gone, I'll drive the 06Zo6 till "MiniMe" arrives. The wait is on!!! Now I must think about having the dealer paint the black wheel molding same as car color, and think about after market wheels. I have enjoyed reading all the threads here, to this point. Great input from everyone. Thanks

 

Well, just found out from my MA that I too am scheduled for week 27. I was hoping to get in week 26, but oh well.

Chili Red manual MCS, White roof, mirrors, and bonnet stripes, Sport and Premium packages, Anthracite headliner, Rooster red color line, Rooster red and black cloth seats, Chrome line interior, HiFi stereo, Armrest, Rear fog lamps, White turn signals.

Can't freakin' wait to get it!!!

 

There was a car on the lot at the dealership I ordered from that had a Pepper/Redwood LL. Looks really clean - great choice!

I saw on the week 26 thread that had I ordered mine 1 day earlier, I probably would have made week 26. Oh well. Week 27 suits me just fine I suppose. Who the heck would want a brand new car to drive around all summer anyway?

Not exactly sure how to determine what the production week is, but I do know that a VIN was issued for my Mini, and my MA said that production technically started on June 21. I confirmed the VIN through the Owner's Lounge. So what week am I in?

 

That should mean that you are in production week 25, A.K.A. this week! Congrats!!! We all still have a while to wait.

I am hoping I can get in week 27. Ordered mine on 6/18.

 

Have no idea what my production week is. I ordered June 4 and it was a reorder. MA said it would come at the same time as my initial order which had been put in the middle of May... meaning the end of July, early August. It has been waiting for transport for a long time.

 

If mine started on the 19th and completes the 25th of june, what week does that put me in?

liafia, no clue what week you are, but if your MINI is already built and just awaiting transport, you are certainly not week 27.

Dude, settle down. We're all future MINI owner's here, right? No need to get all cocky and try and rub it in our faces that your car will be built 2 weeks before ours.

You don't see us giving you crap for pussing out and getting an auto trans, do you?

I know that extra 2 weeks is not easy. But it will go fast.

I hear the wait for the ship to get accross the sea is the worst, it takes like 15 days. I am going to be stuck on the ship track site and the hurricane warning site the whole time.

Two weeks difference in production doesn't necessarily mean two weeks difference in delivery. There are a lot of variables stacking up between beginning production and your MA handing you the keys (fobs).

 

yea my dealership said i was in week 27 and that id probably have the car by july 28th if everything goes smoothly

 

July 28th huh? Must be nice! I'm gonna be doing good to get mine by the end of August.

 

From what i have read looks like east coast gets there way before anyone else.

And west coasters have the longest wait since the ship goes through panama.

 

Week 26 has arrived! Rejoice fellow future MINI owners! Only 1 more week to go until our babies get built!

 

This is not looking good. My Mini is still On Order with no production week yet. :(

 

Have you called your MA to see if they show a production week for you yet? My status on the Owner's Lounge is still "On Order", but my MA says that is really slow to update, and he knows I'm in week 27.

I'd say call your MA and get the scoop!

 

I didn't want to bother my MA, but I called askmini this morning and spoke to a live person. He told me I was scheduled for week 27, but for some reason they started production this morning! So actually now I am week 26.
