Not quite Mint in Box. . .

Well, I've got several shelves of MINI and Mini toys, but my newest obsession is tracking down old toys that have been played with and played with a LOT.

There is something really charming and fun about toys that have endured many hours of play.

Anyway, here are a couple that I have recently acquired. . .

Thanks Rick! That lets me know how old it is. The only label I could find just said that it was made in Japan.

I'm having fun tracking these things down on ebay auctions. . . it seems the "MIB" crowd avoids these things like the plague. . . .

I just got a played with Mini-Ha-Ha matchbox toy. I had and lost a couple of them when I was a kid. Stupid sandbox ate SOOOO many of my Matchbox cars!

The ones I had, I got in the early-mid 70s and came in actual boxes. Which were promptly opened and discarded.
I never owned a matchbox car in a blister pack till I moved to the States.
