My girlfriend got me the sparkling silver metallic Mini Cooper S model from AutoArt...aside from being an S it's the same colour combination with the same bonnet stripes as my Cooper.
I was the big winner in last night's gift exchange game at the SCMC Christmas party. I took home that same JCW model that dnaren is bragging about. Big smileys for me!!

Autoart makes some great models, but they goofed with the R56 Cooper S. The gas cap is wrong. They also make one in Chili Red but the roof and mirrors are white but the bonnet stripes are black.
Oh, does the bonnet open? I noticed that the bonnet is secured with a clear piece of plastic when I saw it at the store.
Good lordy that 1:18 JCW model retails for $99. That would go nicely with my Kyosho 1:18 scale JCW Cooper S. I guess I'll have to keep an eye an eye out for it and see if it goes on sale.

I ordered mine from MorristownMINI. $79.99 + shipping
My local MINI dealer demanded $99 + tax for the same.
Here is something interesting...

I bought one radio-controlled MINI Cooper S in 1:20 scale (about 7" long) at Macy's for $18.00. Originally $29.99, priced 40% off. The only color at the SW Plaza (Littleton, CO) Macy's was electric blue/white roof. It's fairly well detailed for an RC car. The mirrors are white, chrome gas cap, chrome around the grille. Great for $20 in my opinion. The car uses 3 AA batteries and the remote uses a 9V battery. The remote has forward, reverse, left and right. Made by Excalibur Electronics. See photo.

OMG! I've been looking for one of those! A few mail order places had it last year for the holiday shopping season, and then it vanaished. Despite my numerous and not-very-subtle hints, my wife failed to get my one for christmas last year. I'm going to Macy's on my way home tonight!
It's the only EB scale model of any kind that I've seen with the X-lite wheels...
The cream one or the green one? I've got a bunch of spare cream ones if anyone is still looking for them. The green ones are only just now appearing in Vegas.
