MINIMini Toys - Diecast/Models/RC *Caution Lots of photos*
CRAP!!!! I should have checked here before posting it. I got excited when I saw a similar car get up to $36, so I listed it.
Here's my auction:

If you're still interested, let me know and I'll see if there's a way to take it off of ebay.
HERE are some close up pics of the car.

Thank you! Very nice find in the end.
Nothing really. They're just really rare (by design). Every few thousand cars, Johnny Lightning purposely produces these 'flawed' vehicles to help increase the fun of the hunt. Because they are so rare, they're highly regarded and collectors pay more for them.
Unfortunately, some of the bigger retail chains get raided by collectors before most even make it on the shelves. So, to actually find one in the store is even more difficult and a true stroke of luck.
This is my second found White Lightning. The first one was a Jeep CJ and went for $14.

looking for proper colours
I am looking for green/black toped Mini/MINI to have on my desk to play with
. So they don't need to be in packaging.
1:24, 1:18, and hot wheels scales diecast.
I would also go for plastic kits so I could make them in the proper colours
.
I am also a sacrilegious enough to paint a white top, black
.
I would love an r56.
Thanks

Good luck. Most I've seen are Green/White or checkerboard
Hey kids, I got right on this. First of all the GP had a HORRIBLE ride height. I corrected that by lowering the front body mounts. You must remove the hard plastic front bumper but I didn't care.
After the ride height was perfect then I was looking at the coveted GP wheels and I thought they looked a bit bare. What to do, add a BBK of course! I took apart a Camaro model that I had laying around and drilled out the rotors to fit the GP wheels. The calipers are a bit big but I will trim them down to fit.

Wel I'm proud to say I finnaly after 3 months of looking I found not juts one but 2 of these little guys. And thanks to my new camera a nice pic too.
I'm still looking for the green matchbox, but did find the gold one in the 10 pack the other day.
Embarrassed to say this, but with some careful work with a razor blade and glue gun, I was able to open the package, remove the gold car, replace it with another, and seal it back up. Now I have another gift for toys for tots as well as my prize!

Hey dragonflyer-
I saw the Miniracer at Costco, too, and posted it here a few weeks ago because I think it's pretty damned cool. I can just see the little peeps, bigger ones, too, screamin down the sidewalk on one of these. I think you and I are the only ones who like, though.

Thanks BobbieJ,
But where is the fun in getting one from a friend. It's all about the hunt for me.
The nice thing about the MINI Racer is it ould fit in your Boot. Oh I'm over the wait limit too but who cars. it's only money right?
BTW I'm still looking for the chrome Mini. (Hint)
