fire extinguisher

Opps, does anyone have an extinguisher mounted in there MINI? I'm doing a driving school next weekend that requires i have one in the car. it doesn't have to be plumbed into the engine bay or cockpit. They just want me to have one in the car. I of course don't want this to be mounted through my floor or into the uniboby. I was hoping i could go through the seat mount bolts but that looks like it would be very difficult. the seatbelt tiedown was another idea but it the seat is moved back and forth it might knock the extinguisher off or set it off. Not good at 100+. Any input would be nice.

The OEM kit

IT's a bit of a pain to install (not much clearence for the big Torx screws that hold the seat in) but the unit moves with the seat.
Not cheap, but a nice set up.

Check with your driving school. Having something loose in the car is usually a no-no on a track.

IT's a sweet set up.

I just moved the extinguisher from my Mustang (last car I tracked) to the Mini today. Gonna go run with the big-block crowd this weekend at Thunderhill. You'll like the set-up, and all your friends will be impressed too!
