Well here is the first attempt from me. This one likely won't be submitted as it is rather boring...plus I still have about 100 others to choose from that I haven't even looked at yet.

You have a nice mirror-like color to reflect the suroundings. Too boring according to whom?
To much choice is like picking a loaf of bread.:impatient

I have some pictures of the same stuff. As for the reflections, yes! In one picture of a bently I could see my wife stading in the background but it was only seen when it was blown up.

Splashed through some fresh slimey mud before a corner today. I upset the balance just before hitting the mud slick, and had a wonderful drift across it (about 20 feet) while letting the DSC take control of the brakes... it felt sooooo good!
Not good enough to bounce my first idea.

saakey: your entry is in the contest gallery.

A few points to re-iterate (these are in the contest rules if you follow the link in the first post) since there have been some issues with some of the entries this month. If there is an issue with your entry you have already received a PM from me.
  • One entry per member per month
  • The photo must be MINI related
  • Each submission must retain an appearance that it was captured on camera.

No, it means no renderings and no "photos" of charcoal/pencil sketches. This is a photo contest, and the entries should look like a photo. Photoshop to do the B&W conversion of a color photo is fine.

Here is one more I am working on that I probably won't submit. Thanks to speednut who has been helping me with a few new techniques - He knows his stuff!

Converted photos are ok

I think it's the doctored photos that cause the issue.

Here's one from Jan. that I never posted

Good luck to all (and if you don't need it, send some my way ).
