New(er) photos from Stoopidgirl

Once again I've been slacking on posting my new pics. I haven't had too many I consider to be uber magnificent caliber but here are some of my newer shots. For the 3rd time my camera is being fixed so for the holidays people are safe from my little point and shoot camera and my Photoshop abilities. All shots were taken by me and my Canon powershot S70. If you want to see the rest of my stuff go here http://emilymartian.deviantart.com/gallery/
(I apologize now...please no one kill me for posting their photo)

The infamous DR.FUH

his cousin

The Future Queen of Nebraska (who rocks...and I usually hate girls)

Our friend's 3 month premature baby Brandon

and last but not least Petey the wonder dog

I enjoy your pho-toes I used to do photography in Hawaii and got lots of compliments. I never understood it..I always thought.."how can I take a bad pic with heaven in the background?" I like the baby pic..it stirs emotion and it's a beautiful shot!

I, for one, love that shot of Petey! Fantastic how you got the low angle and used his body to block out the sun and keep it from overexposing to the point of only getting his silhouette while still keeping the "glory" of the sunlight coming around him.

Sure, I'm a dog person, but I just love that one. It looks like he's had a long, fun day of playing fetch with that tennis ball!

Nice doggy.

Backlighting in this shot is, uh, cool. It worked for me on rally action shots. Can I copy this image for my daughter?

Oddly, somehow, strangely I agree with the line of thinking of those people...it's just one of those photos that makes many car people say "cool".

well thanks guys.

fitch: Sometimes I feel like that too. I'm quite confident in my skills, it just amazes me sometimes the ones I think are my best and the ones other people do. We blew up the baby photo and framed it for his parents for x-mas

Mini2Go: Petey is one of the most energetic dogs ever, which normally would drive me crazy, but he's not in your face about it. If you throw the ball he'll keep bringing it back until you stop. Once you stop he litterally runs laps around the yard and jumbs dirtbike style jumps. He's awesome

89AKurt: you may copy it for your daughter the lighting was actually a mistake, I was just trying to capture him standing still which is impossable so I pretty much jumped for joy when seeing how it came out.

thanks kyriian, dominic, and SpiderX happy to know you like them.
oh and the Queen of Nebraska is actually much hotter in person

here's another one, this one's kind of a Halmark shot but the candidness is cute (I don't know these people, I was at a company picnic)

Thanks a bunch. I've always had guy friends and never cared for girls because their claws for competition always seem to be out but the "Queen" was cool because she respected me and didn't have a problem admitting to liking the same things I do :D

Cool Shots Emily!

Lighting! Yup, that's what I love about these pics Emily.

The company picnic image . . . those aren't bagels in the background are they?

Bagels? where in the world do you see bagels Juan? There's some flags from the relay races hanging in the backgroud...you must be craving bagels.

I wanted to get a better picture of the baby before he gets big to really show how small he is. I took this in the hospital and they had all the lights really low in his room for health reasons and such so it was very hard to get an infocus shot without all the noise...well, I got the noise but it works. He was soooo tiny, thatc was the day before thanksgiving so I'm sure he's much bigger now. I'll go see him soon

thanks...I was suppose to go to bed over an hour ago but then someone mentioned Flickr on another thread so I've obsesivly been adding stuff to my account. Alot of it is not on my banner link. I've decided to post pretty much all my MINI shots (finally they are a happy family in one place...well some of them)
not sure if this is the link to my flickr gallery but give it a shot (and let me know if it works) http://www.flickr.com/photos/41452418@N00/

I should be getting to bed also but I'm taking a break from "Santa" activities. Thought I'd check in and whoah! I'm not the only insomniac.

Good to see you've joined Flickr. There are quite a few MINI enthusiasts on there.
