Dragonflies seem to constantly land on my antenna, and a one did again today while I was washing Cavan. This time though, he was munching down on another!

 

Only thing better than bugs is....bugs eating bugs!

I was commenting the other day how bugs always seem to hit the headlamps and the chrome surround on the front grill. Maybe they fall off everything else, and stick better to those areas?

 

Yeow....nasty stuff. Then again, yumminess is in the multiple eyes of the beholder. Your antenna must resemble some primordial plant or something.:smile:

 

I have noticed this with my antenae also. It's kinda neat, especially when a red one lands on it.

I thought the one that was hanging around my mini was coincidence!

I took pictures with a 35mm SLR, and I'm not even halfway through the roll, but will post when I get them developed. Wow. Who knew?

 

They do that a lot at my house too. They seem to prefer my wife's BEP MCS to my CR one though.

The only bad thing I've noticed is that they leave dragonfly droppings on the white tops.

 

I took some pictures at the tech day of dragonflies on two MINI antennas at Cory's house... one landed on Tony's with "Dragon Slayer" across the windshield. I uploaded them but never looked at how they turned out :P

Funny you should bring this up...a couple weeks ago a dragonfly landed right on the tip of my antenna. My camera was in the car and I tried very hard not to disturb him as I opened the door, but he flew off. How odd this experience is so widespread!

Dragonflies and butterflies like my car too...but then again they seem to like me too...I have a tattoo of a dragonfly on my hip and one of a butterfly on my back...Guess now we know why I have a MINI!! No, I'm not going to post pictures of my tattoos...but they are neat!
