Amazing, roadsurfer! That's some crazy moonlight.

 

Did some extensive washing one day and couldn't stop. Ended up going to the park right next door to my house at 1 am.

 

Not finished with this shot yet. I just took it quick with my iPhone. I will be going back with my dslr and tripod to get it right.

 

My iPhone pics often look like this when the lens has smudges on it. A few scrubs on your shirt or pants should take those rays away.

 

Thanks, you're probably right. And it is just the nature of bright lights and dark nights lol. Soon I hope to have time to use. My full out camera to set it up right.

Misbehaving Mini

 

Those are all great! I haven't made it out to get shots of my Mini yet, but I want to catch something like I did with my Nitro. Midnight meteor shower

 

I'm bummed - MINIUSA's Owner's Network is shut down for good (although they promise something new to replace it) and just about every shot I've posted here resided there....

Here are a few of my night pics. Exposure time from 30 sec (while light painting) to 10+ min at around 10-12:30 at night.

Yes my car was filthy but a buddy called me up around 9 and was bored so we went and took pics.









Orange glow was from gauges and long exposure, car was running so the screen on the tach and radio was on.

 

Quick shot with my phone w/no flash.......menacing!

 

I LOVE the light painting shots! And the one with the star streaks. Long exposure shots are always fun to do

yetti - those shots are very cool. Wish I had a playground I could drive in with the MINI. All the ones around here are quite off limits!

Yep. It's my buddy's black JCW taken from the loft door of the attic in my garage. If it were my car, it would have to be a reverse negative.
