I would like to thank cloud10 for enduring my demanding photo shoots, and her ape for not crashing my car!

I would like to thank Speednut, for talking me into getting a new camera (and other help). Seems like every time I get a new camera, I win a contest.

I would like to thank the 21 people who voted for this entry. I wish more people participated, could have been 4 entries.

I would like to thank the developer, who built the streets through Granite Dells. It's a great setting, with little traffic.

We did get a lot of strange looks and although most people who came through the area liked it, there were a couple of grouches.

All in all it was one of the most enjoyable days ever. The first day wasn't great as a rainstorm came in. I never take the convertible out in bad weather as it is always open top for the apes.

Kurt has soooooo much patience, but just to be out with another MINI made all the time out there worthwhile.

The gorillas loved the attention. My family doesn't realize I bought the car for them and I was thrilled to get the plate for them. They make people smile when we drive around and that is so rare today.

Thanks for the fun Kurt. You are one of a kind.

 

Where do the photo contest announcements get posted? I seem to always miss them.

I wish i saw this befor i was in the south bronx taking pictures i got a great pik of my car wiith people bwing taken out of a patty wagon.

 

Ok folks, I added a link to March's topic it should be showing up on the main page (is it for everyone?) Do you think that will work, or do you want to see its own posting?
