A few shots driving around with my best friend
Thank you...that would be Sadie. She's a full bread black shepard and turns a year old on the 24th. She's very well manored for such a young age. At times, she will just lay down in the back yard and keep an eye on the kids playing hockey in the driveway (no leash, no electric fence, etc).

THANKS for all the great comments everyone!
Hmmm...I might take you up on that bet
I'm not sure that my dog realizes she's a dog yet. She'll jump up in the car and sit on the driver's side rear seat knowing that's her location. While every now and then she'll put her head between the seats for some petting...but she's been really good about staying back there.
She definitely turns heads while driving through the park...almost as much of an attention getter as the MINI itself.

When I got her...she would puke after a few minutes in the Jeep...I noticed that she wouldn't throw up at all if the top was down in the MINI, so basically, I used it to break her of the motion sickness.
On a final note...Friday will be her 1 year birthday
Any post with Dogs in it is a GREAT post!

Of course these Hellions don't ride in SJ, they tend to get distracted easily and I would be a bit afraid they would leap out if a deer or another dog caught their attention.

What is it with MINI owners and Corgis? I've got two.
Well....how about a few pics? I've been owned by Corgis waaayyy longer than I've owned MC. I think the two go hand in hand though, they are both fast, manuverable, strong and smarter than the average dog/car!
One of our KC Club members has two also, a Welsh and a Pembroke. They show them and do agility contests with them.....
My wife would be scared to death to take our two 14lb Mini-Poopers in a bed in the front seat like that - she'd be afraid they'd get thrown thru the windshield in a crash. She also does not like them riding in the very back part of the Clubby either, afraid of what would happen if we got rear-ended. I have some harnesses I put on them then I clip them to the seatbelts in the back seats. It's not foolproof, but it might provide some protection - at least that's my theory!

He can't see anyting sitting on the seat.
I always have my right arm ready to brace Mario if I have to stop fast. He does go into the back seat if he wants to take a snooze on a long trip. I do not want to tie him down because if I did get into a crash he will have a better chance of surviving then being squashed by the air bag. There is no Guarantee of safety in this world. He likes to travel and I like to take him. I do not drive stupid or give anyone the finger when my friend is with me. I keep him as safe as possible and we do have a lot of fun when traveling. I hate to see people put their dogs in a cage all day if they go out. My dog has the run of the house as well as the dog door into the back yard. If I go on vacation I take him with me. If I go to the store or dog park I take my Samuari with the back rolled up and the windows 1/2 way down. At times I will have five dogs in my Samuari just going for a ride around the block because the dogs like to GO. I do have a web cargo net on the back of the Samuari so none of them can accidently fall out the back. Mario is my dog, Mollie & Reesie are my friend Shari's dogs, Missy is Shari's mom's dog & Percy is my neighbors dog. They all love to go what we call a "JEEP RIDE" There are more dogs but I just watch them once in a while. At times I have had 11 dogs on a JEEP RIDE.
I'm sure JoeyC would not think of tying his friend down. His friend looks great in the Vert and looks like he really enjoys going driving on a "MINI RIDE""

And what a fine looking Dude! And it looks like he has a very nice throne for his vehicle outings. Our oldest loves riding in cars, he was a rescue dog so I think he spent quite a bit of commute time trying to find a good home. He is always the first out the door when its time to head to the groomers. The middle child didn't like car riding when he was younger (I think he would throw up out of spite) but he now seems to enjoy his occasional rides. The youngest can't stand car rides, she lays on the floor and shakes the whole time. I don't know if she's scared of the experience or PO'd because she has to wear a leash. The good thing about living in the sticks is that these folks only wear their leashes to visit the groomer and the vet so they don't like to be tied down.
