Congrats on the win Kevin. One of the best pics yet to grace these contests. It is surreal and other-worldly. Thanks for sharing your talents.

Thanks so much everybody

I definitely feel now like it was worth the time waiting for the sun to go down a bit and the lighting be "right" to take the picture!!

Great spot just outside of Highlands, NC! The photo is excellent too, you absolutely nailed the composition and timing. The curves make for great rhythm.

US 68/28 is a great route to the dragin, click
for a google street view and location of the bridal veil falls along Highway 64 outside of Highlands, NC.

Thanks Thomas and that is a great picture of the two Mini's under the fall. Lighting is great with the falls not being blown out...very hard to do there!!

And 28/68 on the way to highlands was one of the funnest drives I had. 28 out that way is a constant back and forth curve for so long you can really perfect your angle into the curves!!

Nice job ke4sfq. I love 28 as well. When I am on my motorcycle, I prefer 28 over the dragon. Not so with Ruby, though.
BTW, being a chili red with black roof didn't hurt your vote count either. As you can see, my favorite as well.
