WI and/or Milwaukee Owners Club?

I know there used to be a Badger-state Mini Club, but it seems as though they have dropped off the face of the Earth without a trace.

If there is still one, could someone point me in the right direction?

If there isn't one anymore, would there be enough interest among my fellow Wisconsinites to start one?

Alternatively you're more than welcome to head down to Chicago for CMMC activities. As for other clubs, you can check below:

May 7th I'll still be at the Dragon, maybe I can make it to the next one. Good luck with your club!

I've tagged a couple of cars, but I don't think I got yours (based on the picture).

I'm looking forward to the Milwaukee Mile as well! Should be a neat way to start things off!

Final Details for this weekend....

Just a quick note to let everyone know the plan for the Milwaukee Mile event this weekend. Meet at 8:30am in the Walgreens parking lot at Greenfield Avenue & 84th Street, right across from The Milwaukee Mile. (Walgreens, 8333 W. Greenfield Avenue, West Allis, WI 53214). We can drive on the track together if you come to Walgreens to meet first, or otherwise if you drive seperately to the Mile, feel free to drive the track on your own. Either way, afterwards you’ll be directed to the MINI corral for the car show. For complete details about the event, please visit http://www.milwaukeeMINIS.com

I believe you can still participate, the cost goes up to $15 instead of $10.

Still plenty worth it.

Milwaukee Mile - Final Details

I just spoke to the folks at the Milwaukee Mile. They said that about 150 cars have pre-registered and they expect 500 cars total. We've got about 16 MINI's signed up, but others may attend that we don't know about! If you haven't pre-registered yet, you can still come but will just need to pay $15 that day.

Just a heads up that they said that you can pay an additional $15 for 3 extra laps, and you can do this as much as you want. They will also be taking photos of the cars on the track which they will be selling for $5 each with half of the proceeds going to the Hunger Task Force. Don't forget your two cans of food!

The plan is still to meet at 8:30am in the Walgreens parking lot at Greenfield Avenue & 84th Street, right across from The Milwaukee Mile. (Walgreens, 8333 W. Greenfield Avenue, West Allis, WI 53214). We can drive on the track together then to drive on the track, and afterwards we’ll be directed to the MINI corral for the car show.

Looking forward to meeting you all then, Theresa

A special Thanks to Theresa for organizing this event at the Milw Mile. Was great to get out and see the other MINIs. Unfortunately with the kids there....their patience was running thin.....and we couldnt stay that long...Hope to see everyone at the next www.milwaukeeminis.com event.

MINIS on the Mile

I finally had a chance to update the website and included some photos on it - www.milwaukeeMINIS.com - more photos will be coming later this weekend.

Setting up a thread just for Milwaukee will be coming soon, along with the unveiling of our logo (think Autobahn) and a new design to the website!

Thanks to all for coming on out on Sunday!
